What an amazing restaurant! Werner and his team are fantastic, he is bursting with personality and seriously knows how to cook! A great seasonal menu, lots to choose from but the menu isn't overwhelmingly huge, which is great. Everything was seasoned perfectly, no extra salt or pepper needed! The place is small and a little dated, but it feels like a special place and is homely. Next time I'm Torquay, I'll certainly be back!

A very highly rated place and for good reason judging by our visit. We were fortunate to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here. If it hadn't had fell on a midweek day then I feel we wouldn't have got in. It's an unpretentious dining room and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The menu is a bit limited and any fussy eater like me may want to phone ahead to check what's on offer. We had fillet steaks and they were excellent, together with a nice selection of vegetables. Managed to get in on a busy Friday night. Food was amazing. Locally picked Cèpes, gently breadcrumbed and served with a subtle garlic sauce. Side of Salmon with a hint of smoke, with veg. Veal schnitzel. Tender and soft. Plus house pudding! Great staff. Wonderful service. Delicious food. Great ambiance! Thank you!!
