Turned up at 11.55am just for a few cups of tea and maybe a little nibble, they refused to let us sit at a table until 12 as the bar wasn't open even when we said we were happy to just sit as we had an elderly family member with us. When we were finally showed to a table they tried sitting us on a table for 2 when there were 4 people in our group. We were then sat on the correct size table next to the window where we noticed the blinds were absolutely filthy caked in dust. Thoroughly enjoyed our food, service and location. We’ve been here several times throughout the year. Dan and the rest of the staff have been very accommodating and helpful too. Nothing is too much trouble. We’ve had several different items off the menu which have all been very tasty and cooked to perfection in my opinion. The menu has great choices which I’ve sampled 80% of but unfortunately never took pics of them all. The location is very nice and overlooking Torquay seafront.

Lovey service, Sharon is a credit to you. (We would've tipped if we had cash money. Food was to die for, lovely portion size. The only downside was a sticky table (the kind you find in an old pub) and we sat under a dusty air-conditioning vent.
