We sat outside in the sun, it was roasting, they had a singer on, place was booming with people. If you have a boat you can park up and take 2 steps and you're in the pub, amazing 😆 Staff was great considering how hot and busy it was, food was a bit of a wait (understandably) but definitely worth the wait as it was delicious and presented really well. N W★★★★Well another Green King pub. The location for this pub is just amazing. It's situated on the side of the canal. Which has very good paths on both sides. The staff are very nice, very attentive and amenable. They are striving to do their very best by the company and the custom. I did hear a conversation between bar staff in which they were discussing how excited they were about new ideas the company was introducing to make the pub more successful. This charming pub on the canal offers an unbelievable value for money lunch menu Mon-Fri 1200-1700 with pub classics starting from £6.95. We thought the plates were a perfect lunch size, however for the super hungry traveller you may want to order from the normal menu. Service was great and our waitress super friendly and accommodating. If you have any four legged ‘furmily’ members this place is a go to, offering a doggy menu…..you can even buy your pooch a tennis ball or dinner bowl!?! Will definitely be return
