On the beach front , cost me less than £40 for 2 drinks 2 main meals and cheesy garlic bread, the food was fantastic absolutely delicious, so fresh , I had meatballs and spaghetti, the service was very good, and the place itself was very beautiful, lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

Had another lovely meal at Portofino. We were seated opposite the sea view. The general atmosphere in the restaurant is serene, a lot of effort has been made to create an authentic Italian feel. The food as always was top quality, a taste sensation and is very reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone for romantic dining or even with the family or work fucntions. Tip- Make sure you order a garlic bread with cheese, it's too good not to!

Beautiful restaurant, when inside it doesn’t feel like you’re on the Wirral!! We were grabbing a quick meal before the theatre (trains were late!!) and we were so happy that yes, they could feed us in time so we wouldn’t miss the beginning of our show. The service was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful, and well, the main meals and garlic bread were beyond delicious. We are going back for another visit! Really impressed!

This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever dined at. The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly and had our family filled with smiles and laughter. The portion sizes are very generous, the flavour in the food tastes so fresh and authentically italian and presentation was perfect. Many italian places lack the italian desert menu, but not Portofino, their lemon deserts are amazing too.
