I visited Jamaica Blue in Golden Square Warrington and ordered a matcha. The drink itself was very beautiful and delicious: bright colour, skilful latte art and pleasant taste. However, my impression was significantly spoiled by the condition of the establishment: the saucer on which the cup was served was chipped, and the table at which I was sitting was noticeably dirty. In addition, as the kitchen did not appear to be properly isolated, there was a constant unpleasant smell coming from it, which spoiled the atmosphere. I visited this place about 2 months ago and, honestly, my experience wasn’t great. I decided to give it another chance recently, and I’m so glad I did! This time, everything was much better. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I ordered an American dinner that was far tastier than my previous visit. The coffee was excellent as well. Just visited Jamica Blue and ordered the Big Breakfast and Veggie Brunch. Both were absolutely delicious, and the coffee was amazing definitely worth trying. The staff were friendly and quick with our order. We also had a chance to chat with the girl making the coffees, and she was very polite and welcoming. The manager was incredibly humble and even treated us to a cake, which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommend for great food, excellent coffee, and wonderful service. We'll definitely be back! 😊

I have been here many times before and the food was lovely so I always ignored the staff’s behaviour. However today I had a full English breakfast. Unfortunately the beans must’ve been out of date as they were looking quite bubbly and had an acidic taste. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I just made the staff aware before I left without customers hearing. I assume nothing will be done about it as it’s Boxing Day and they will close soon.
