Coming home after driving from France on went on website to book a table i received an e mail confirming my booking and even a telephone call to say that there would only be beef and pork which was OK for us upon arriving (20 mins earlier than booking) we saw that the restaurant area was closed on explaining to the young man at the bar all we got was "it's shut" I tried to show him the email I'd received and he just walked off it was an absolute disgrace well thankyou toby carvery we will not be going there again and will be sure to tell friends and family to avoid also it was Monday night an

Father's day, well you would expect the place to be busy, it was, but the toby carvery were not prepared in the slightest. The breakfast carvery was shocking, half the selection not available, The plates were dirty, people waiting 10-15mins for bacon, eggs, hash browns, even brown sauce. But in the meantime the person doing, take away orders, was taking the food from the carvery, hence leaving customers holding their hot plates including my group of 4 adults, without the eggs, bacon, hash browns etc. These takeaway orders should be prepared in the kitchen not on full view of people waiting. P

We came at 3.30 for Sunday lunch 31/5/26 greeted by Katie who also served us and was very friendly and helpful. The guy on the carvery was also good. Food was fresh and hot, we had a very nice lunch, thanks to all.
