Visited there on a Saturday two weeks ago. Food was okay, except for the pasta. There were 6-8 mussels in the pasta but 4 weren’t open! Better check if all mussels are open if you order a seafood pasta. There are only two unopened mussels in the photo because my family opened two themselves without telling me.

My wife and I were expecting a good Italian pizza. Unfortunately, the pizzas were cooked in an electric oven, which in itself is not a major issue, although it does give a different flavour compared to a traditional oven. The margherita I had tasted as if it had been frozen and then cooked. The capricciosa was very chewy, almost like chewing gum. That said, I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service. The staff were polite and attentive. The prices of food was reasonable. In the end I was expecting a better food.

What a great find! We were just driving through Watford and unsure where to eat with fussy kids and we saw the reviews for LArtista. We were so impressed with the quality of food, the portion size and the price too. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars for service is because by the end of our meal service was a little slower than when we arrived; however, that was because it was just so popular. We lived near Watford a few years ago, and L’artista was always our favorite place to eat. It became our go-to spot for special occasions, casual dinners, and whenever we were craving truly great Italian food. I live near Manchester now, but recently I was visiting friends in the area and knew I had to come back for my all-time favourite dish – the Tagliatelle ai broccoli. It was just as delicious as I remembered! In fact, I loved it so much that I ordered a few extra portions to take home with me. I’m so happy to say that the restaurant still serves amazing food, just like it did years ago. T
