The Empress is one of my top choices for tasty Indian dishes in London in a comfortable restaurant setting. I’ve been many times and will travel across London to visit. The cooking is authentic, precise and delicious. They will guide you if you’re unsure what to choose and happily prepare something off menu. The Nazakat starter is a favourite of mine, super tender. I ask for fresh green chillies alongside my curry. The chilli vodka is also worth a try, once. Warm service and memorable meals keep me coming back. Delivery and collection too.

Best curry in the area hands down. Proper depth of flavour in a pretty authentic Balti king prawn. Like properly rich and thick and luscious and brilliant. Bustling and friendly service in a small space (don’t take your cat) full of Christmas cheer. Heartily recommended.

The tiny samosas you can see in the photo yeah that’s what you get for £6 which is ridiculous. The chicken vindaloo which you can see in the photo is having a bath in oil and it doesn’t even taste like a vindaloo it tastes like a gone off Haribo disgusting wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be ordering form this place again. Let alone the fact that all the food was stone cold due to the delivery driver taking all night, but that is an issue. I will take up with Uber eats.

Passed this restaurant on last visit to London and chatted briefly with the owner who was preparing menu outside (but we had already just eaten). From that moment his passion and good nature was evident so we decided to try it on our next visit. The food, atmosphere and same owners passion and attention didn't disappoint. Well worth a visit. I had the Shepard's Pie. Amazing
