My friend works nearby and seemed to know the owner quite well. In fact, I found the owner to be really personable, friendly and ready to help me navigate around the area. After visiting some of the busy and anonymous big named chained pubs in London, it was so nice to sit down comfortably and have a quiet drink with a pub owner who is ready to chat amiably with his clientele. Thoroughly recommended!
