Ian Knights★★★★★

My friend & I popped in here recently at the end of a pleasant Friday nights eating & drinking elsewhere and thoroughly enjoyed our last couple of pints for the day. My friend works nearby and seemed to know the owner quite well. In fact, I found the owner to be really personable, friendly and ready to help me navigate around the area. After visiting some of the busy and anonymous big named chained pubs in London, it was so nice to sit down comfortably and have a quiet drink with a pub owner who is ready to chat amiably with his clientele. Thoroughly recommended!

Richard Killip★★★★★

Great pub in the heart of Whitechapel. A perfect meeting place before Tayyabs or if visiting the hospital. Friendly, welcoming staff and a decent, if predictable, range of well-kept real ales at refreshingly reasonable prices for the area.

Jason Whittle★★★★

Nice pub in Whitechapel, London. Decent prices apart from the crisps at £2 per bag, which seems a little steep.

Steve Marks★★★★★

A great family run pub on the cusp of the City and well worth any length of journey to visit. Great prices for the area; great food; always spotlessly clean; the best jukebox around; massive TV's showing sport and last but by no means least - properly run by a thoroughly decent landlord/landlady (David & his Wife) who are always both friendly and welcoming. Top Boozer!
