Visited on a Saturday around 0900hrs after long romantic stroll along beach front from area of Castle. Beautiful day slightly breezy but the ‘Best of British’. Eventually arrived at Thé Kitchen for coffee and a snack. Seemed quiet and lots of seating. I then notice ‘best bacon butty’…well we shall see about that? Well, Two coffees, warm pastry later oh and the ‘best in class’ bacon sandwich - made it. Nice place and good food. We had the tuna melt panini, chicken and brie panani and a bacon butty.

£8.90 for a bacon sandwich! This is the second time I've been here, first time was for cake which was pleasant. This time however will be my last. My family wanted breakfast and so getting a menu this time i was utterly alarmed at the prices. I'm not hard up but I am conscious of value for money and this has got to be the most expensive bacon sandwich I've ever seen anywhere in the world I've traveled. In my eyes, this pricing decision creates an impression about the overall attitude of the owners and sadly it's not a positive one. Given the fact we were seated we opted for a £4.10 sausa
