Went for breakfast at Whitstable Cafe. It was one of the best breakfasts I've had. Very nice size and piping hot. I had the full breakfast which around £12.00 and that included toast or bread & butter with a drink. I had a latte which was lovely. Bacon was lovely and thick and cooked well. Beans we're nice and thick and sausage was lovely quality. Eggs were perfect and runny. Would highly recommend. They had all other options on the menu from main meals and bagels.

What makes the place cosy is atmosphere & happy, welcoming staff. It is a place that can feel like home the first time you visit because the staff here are amazingly friendly. The best cup of coffee I have had ever. The cakes are amazing and very generous portions. Lunch menu had some lovely and some different & healthy choices such as bagel with halloumi. All meal served with salad. Big portions n very reasonable prices which never burden on ur pocket. Very busy at peak times but well worth being patient for table. Must recommend this place.

Service was quick and easy, the coffee was lovely and the breakfast was great. The bacon, sausages and black pudding were all very good quality. I forgot to take a picture before I ate the breakfast but the image speaks for itself!

Cash only - no card. This was disappointing as most of us carry so little cash these days. I understand that this is a business decision and have no problem with it other than they should make people aware of this before they order as several people including myself were caught out as the only notice is a small sign next to the register at the back of the cafe. There is a cash machine across the street but it often runs out of cash and the next nearest ATM is down the street. It was an embarrassing situation which could have been avoided with better signage. Food was also just so-so. Apparentl
