The service was great with friendly and attentive staff... a little too attentive sometimes - clearing away my bottle before it was empty! 😡 The food was lovely overall though again my steak was supposed to be "medium" but I think was medium-rare - being a very thick steak and slightly undercooked. Perhaps butterfly cut would have been better.

This has always been a local favourite for us—we’ve visited many times in the past and even held events here—so it was really upsetting to see how much it has declined. The place looked extremely run down, dirty, and generally uninviting. There was one member of staff, who appeared to be the manager, and he was very helpful and friendly. Three of the meals were pasta and were up to the usual high standard but one friend had ordered pan fried sea bass with chips. The sea bass was so small it looked like a child's portion and the chips were definately not up to the usual standard having the appearance of frozen oven chips. Having recommended your restaurant to our friends we found it highly embarrassing that his meal was so meagre and definitely not up to your usual standards. The service as usual was very good
