Stopped by for a late lunch with my partner on a mid midweek afternoon not really my choice as I find carvery's very predictable & unexciting... The staff were pleasant enough & took our order from the table you then wander over to the que and await the thinest slices of meat of your choice to be 'carved' & placed on your plate, these type of eatery's really do rely on the customer filling up on the much cheaper items ie : yorkshire pudding ,potatoes, vegetables etc to feel like they're getting thier 'money's worth'... We had such a fantastic experience at Toby Carvery, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful server, Amy. From the moment we arrived, Amy was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. She made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Nothing was too much trouble—whether it was checking in at just the right moments, making sure our drinks were topped up, or helping with anything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. Dropped in for a carvery a few days ago. The guy serving the food was a sound as, even got some turkey skin. The ladies doing table work were really nice. Me and my partner got massive piles of food and it was delicious. Unfortunately for me the heat of the day finished me off and we had to leave. The staff were happy to provide take out tubs for what we had left so nothing was wasted

We got a Too Good to Go order from here. It was supposed to be a carvery order in value of around £12. They gave us a bucket of sides with 3 thin roast ham slices(and I mean THIN) which were so disgustingly rancid we ended up throwing the whole lot away. I wouldn't step food in this Toby's or any other ever again after this.
