Just had a 3 course meal with my family. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. The starter, main and desert were all absolutely delicious. You can tell the ingredients are well sourced, with the portion sizes being more than generous had to take desert home as a take out due to how full we were. In the current climate, I'd say the pricing is more than reasonable for what you get -£18 for 3 courses. In my opinion, it is easily the best restaurant in the area 🥰

I recommended here to where I work as I remembered it being perfect home made food. One person that I support had a birthday coming up and said they'd like to go here, around 10 of us went. With it being supported living I work in, everyone had to pay separately with desperate receipts so we made it a little difficult for staff and the pub, but the staff were amazing! Really went out their way to help us and even allowed us to put candles on a cake and supplied plates for this. They were just really great, and it was a nice comfortable atmosphere, where all of us were made to feel welcome! As

We had an absolutely amazing mother's day lunch. The food was cooked to perfection and large portions, excellent value for money. The staff were polite and welcoming. They gave us a small mothers day gift which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be returning in fact we booked to go in the week to sample the rest of the menu. A real gem of a pub .
