As a Canadian staying in Winchester for a few days, I decided to stop in to the Giggling Squid for lunch and I am so glad I did! The food was excellent and so flavorful! If time had permitted, I would have returned again! I especially loved the spicy Pina Colada. It tasted like a regular Pina Colada but with a spicy twist with each sip. Not sure what the spicy twist was...but it was delicious! Salt and pepper squid and spicy prawns were crispy and super flavorable.

Typical Giggling Squid, always a safe bet for hearty lunch when traveling across England. Food was great, place was very busy on a weekend afternoon. Lovely decor and ambience. We had our regular Pad Thai and some lunch combos, nice and hearty meal. Clean toilets although parking was a bit of a walk, aids digestion!

Limited menu compared to our last visit in Bath branch. No soups on evening menu!!!!!! Interesting ice cream flavours but with VERY anaemic orange slice. Liked the unusual 7.5% service charge, not too cheeky even if added to the bill, and very acceptable.
