Passed this on the way to the train station and saw a board saying steak n kidney pie, chips, peas and gravy at a very decent price. Decided we'd give it a try. As soon as we entered, we were met with smiley faces and felt instantly welcome. They found us a table and ensured it was clean and the chairs too. The meal hit the spot, finished off with a pot of tea, perfect. The other meals coming out looked tasty too. The toilet was very clean. Will definitely be back, such a lovely atmosphere friendly staff and easy on the wallet.
