Morris Coleman★★★★★My Birthday lunch for 20 people….4th July… Emma in charge….absolutely perfect ! Looked after us really well…..we had sent a list of food choices for each person….it all arrived on the table, piping hot, in less than 10mins (congrats to th two chefs). Well worth 5*…….highly recommended !!! Cost about £20 per person……
Abi Taylor★★★★★Always lovely homeade food, cosy and dog friendly setting. Greta service! This visit was for breakfast, lots of choice, but had to go for the anchor breakfast- sausage was super tasty!
Laura Elliot★★★★★I cannot say thankyou enough! The Anchor was the venue for my Bridal shower brunch! It was perfect! We used the Boathouse, for 16 people and the room looked beautiful! The communication from start to finish was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the staffs help on the morning itself was fab. The breakfasts were all excellent!! Really tasty ingredients and everyone cannot wait to eat there again. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a private dining experience for any event. Thank-you again to you all so much for making my day perfect! Xx
lynda stokes★★Well, not a good experience. Just been for a meal . Was baking hot in dining room, no fans , in extreme hot weather, you’d think there would be a fan at least. Some breads for starters, very nice. Fish and chips for two of us. Not impressed, chips fine but fish, a lot of batter and the fish inside broke up into small flakes as you tried to put it on fork. 2 pints of San Miguel and a small pinot . £70.00 !!!!!! All I will say is that the assistant who looked after us was efficient and very nice and friendly. Don’t think we will be returning.
