(Based on OUR experience) not sure how anyone could rate this place less than 5 stars… We were in Abilene for a long weekend and walking through this little downtown area - we just happened to pop in here to check out the menu as we were heading back to our car.. and from that first moment everything was already great! The manager who greeted us was very friendly, answered a few of our questions, told us the daily specials, gave us a little walk around the inside to pick where we’d like to sit for the reservation we ended up booking for later that night. We came back 4 hours later to have on

Had dinner here for Valentine’s Day and the owner brought out complimentary champagne which was really sweet. We got the ahi tuna tostadas but I forgot to get a picture but they were really good! I almost wanted to order another plate because I wanted more, for the main, my boyfriend got the shrimp and crawfish etouffee, it had a spicy kick but wasn’t overwhelmingly hot and had a lot of flavor. I had the steak coulette and honestly think it was the best steak I’ve had. The mushroom demi glacé on the steak was amazing as well. We got creme brulee for dessert and I almost ate my half and his! For starters the menu is great, there's a lot to choose from and the pictures online make it hard to choose because everything looks amazing! Since I was undecided, I asked our waitress what she'd recommend and she didn't disappoint. I got the stuffed avocado with chicken salad and wow, the flavors between the chicken salad and hot sauce on top were perfectly balanced. I also enjoyed the prickly pear lemonade, it was so fresh for the hot summer days. Definitely a nice spot for lunch or even for dinner, plus the service was so good. Everything came out quick and our server was very attentive, e

Our group Ladies That Lunch Abilene had a delightful time recently at Cypress Street Station. Reservations were very easy to make online. And I was delighted to receive a confirmation call the morning of to gather additional information in order to make our experience the best possible. We had their different pasta dishes, hot pastrami sandwiches, salads, and a fondue appetizer. All three pasta dishes were delicious. I thought it was a little odd having a jalapeño corn muffin come with pasta. But one bite into the delicious muffin and I would have arm wrestled anyone trying to take it from me.
