This was my second time dining here and it was a redeeming visit as my first was not so pleasant. I didn’t write a negative review that first time because I knew the place had great potential. I am so glad I gave it a second chance. Great food with attentive but not overbearing service. The atmosphere is on the upscale side but not stuffy. Not too pricey either.

I had the Faroe Island Salmon—my second time this week because the first was so good—and it was outstanding. I ordered it medium with a light, flaky Maillard crisp, and the chef nailed it. The dish is incredibly well-balanced: quinoa, perfectly cooked artichoke hearts with the spiny bits thoughtfully removed, fresh greens, and a light but flavorful lemon-butter sauce. If you’re a salmon lover like me, Wellington’s should be an Albany must-visit. A+

Our family of 4 visits Wellingtons 5-6 times a year, including last New Years Eve. It’s always a fantastic experience. We were there tonight and had Brett as our waiter, same as one of our other recent visits. He is one of the best! Food and drinks were perfect, as always. Price is fair for Albany. Highly recommend!

Wellington's offers an upscale dining experience in Albany with great ambience and excellent food. The staff runs lean and often gets overwhelmed when the place gets busy or when dealing with large groups. Nonetheless, it is certainly worth a visit!
