william conklin★★★★★I can't believe I haven't reviewed Morrison's yet. What an absolute gem of a place. The food is delicious, the staff and owner are just so incredibly warm and friendly. Every time my wife and I visit, we're impressed by the atmosphere, the cheer, the service, music and the food. The food! We've been to many "Irish" style food places, and none come close to the quality and selection of Irish comfort food. Everything is made with such care. Also, an excellent whiskey selection! I love Thursdays, with live music. Everyone gets involved in singing. This is easily my favorite pub/bar. I
Amy Herring★★★★★What a great place. Our son was at the SIUE School of Dental medicine and loved going to this pub. So the night of graduation he and his friends went for one last Guinness. ( They drank more than one.) The entertainment was Paul who sang Irish songs and more. The crowd cheered after every song, especially the Cranberries. Owner Morrison is dedicated to making your stay worthwhile. Sam, the Dr. Bartender, treated us with respect and fun. She recommended a wonderful drink. And I loved the Irish Cider. So good. The new dental doctors all wrote on dollar bills to be posted forever in the ceiling.
Amy C★★★★★What a cozy Irish pub nestled in the heart of Downton Alton! It's a small establishment but they were able to accommodate our group of 8 ☘️
deependablereviews★★★★Good vibes and a solid food and drink menu. I got the cottage pie and the flavors were good, but it could have been seasoned better. The chips had a really interesting tang to them! I highly recommend. Our waitress was super cool and it’s a great low-key place to grab a bite or a drink in Alton.
