So yeah ... this is a BBQ joint and I do not eat beef or pork, so why was I there? 🗣 THE SHRIMP. A coworker of my husbands told him that if I liked shrimp, then I would love the offering at Joe's! I was a skeptic because BBQ is land and shrimp is the sea, but of course I had to see what the fuss is all about! He was correct! The shrimp is cleaned well, fried to perfection and not greasy! The cocktail sauce is chefs 💋, so get extras! The icing on the cake is they sell their beef bones and I purchased some of those for my Ridgebacks! Take the trip to Alvin and give them a try!

As authentic as it gets if you’re looking for no frills Texas bbq and all the fixings. Love the barn with its antique and old fashioned decor. It’s a counter order with great table service and a centralized checkout counter at the exit. Two stories offers plenty of space to crowd in. Excellent!

Love the BBQ but the service is not worth the time. Last few times in, the person behind the counter has been rude or more worried about talking to other employees then helping customers. Constant missed/forgotten items. Completely run out of food before 4 (which I understand just disappointing). The first person you meet when coming into a place of business should make the best impression not the worst. It's great BBQ worth a try but don't expect a good taste in your mouth after ordering.

Very enjoyable experience. Food is so good you will over fill before you realize it. Portion sizes are amazing and prices are quite good for the size and quality if the food and service. Staff walked around to deliver the cooked meals bring bread, soup, drink refills and so on. We will definitely make the trip out again.
