Nate is super friendly and very well educated on the menu! He gave my group & i phenomenal recommendations! 11 of us came into the restaurant at 8 pm (they close at 9) and he was eager to still serve us. The Cajun chicken pasta is very good and filling. I appreciate the endless baskets of bread. They are delightful! I would highly recommended going to Red Lobster and asking for Nate to be your server. The manager Kim is very funny and friendly as well. They have a great group at the Red!

March 21st, 2026 was a big night for our family- my oldest son was back from being stationed in Germany and heading to his new station stateside, my son in law transferred from the Iowa National Guard to active duty Airforce. My daughter helps me with respite care for autistic her autistic sibligs They will be moving in a few short weeks. To top off the last big herrah for my family was that it was my birthday. Because of sound sensitivity, being around people and smell sensitivity for my 2 youngest (18 yrs old and 17 yrs old), we do not go out to eat. Being at Red Lobster the last few years,

The Ames Red Lobster is one of the best ones in the area! We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server Austin came over right away to take our drink orders and see if we had any menu questions. The food came out extremely fast, and everything tasted very fresh and hot. Great food! Great service! Great experience! Especially for the price point.

Carter was an absolute delight. My boyfriend is NOT a social guy and Carter had him laughing and joking around. He suggested the smoked old fashioned and my boyfriend loved it! Food was amazing and everyone was kind and helpful! (He drank some before I took the pic, it was full.)
