Great Food, Great service, so glad to have this diner in Apex! From the folks who brought you Cary's Shiny Diner, this is a great addition to Apex eating options. We've been going here since they opened a couple years ago and have always had a great dining experience, the food is as good or better than any diner. The menu is the same as Shiny Diner, breakfast served all day and they honor veterans with a discount, I really appreciate that. Everything I've had here is great but I recommend the "Grandpa Marvin's Hamburger Steak" dinner, it's a huge hand-pattied portion of meat with gravy and oni

To get right to the point, there is nothing special about this diner. I was hoping for a non-chain place to get a good home-cooked breakfast but was left wanting. The inside was fine and seemed clean. The menu was extensive, which often worries me that a restaurant is trying to do too much. The three of us ordered typical breakfast fare including eggs over easy, pancakes, french toast, an omelet, and chicken and waffles. The sides were hash browns, toast and homefries.
