Thai Ashburn has become our go-to, easy family night out. Wonderful, fresh meals, quick and friendly service. If you haven’t stopped in, give Thai Ashburn a try. Our favorites are Tom Yum Chicken soup, Sizzling beef with broccoli, crispy basil chicken, homemade roasted coconut ice cream.

Made a large take out order (7+ people) on a Friday night. Order was accurate and ready when expected. Good vegetarian options. Spice level for curries was excellent. The curries were very flavorful and generous add-ins (tofu, veggies). Spicy Basil Fried is very spicy and flavorful. One of my favorite spots in NoVA for Thai food.

First time here, came for a family birthday celebration. The server was helpful taking orders and helping with spice levels for everyone’s liking. We tried the wasabi dumplings, crispy garlic shrimp and red curry. Also had a bite of the papaya salad. Everything was tasty. Dumplings had just a little kick to them. I had the red curry at 2 chili level. It was just the right amount of spice for me.

Regarding the food- I have had the drunken noodles from this establishment in the past. The sauce for the noodles was spicy but had an odd sweetness to it. The chicken was not very flavorful, and slightly dry. Today, I had the shrimps in a blanket. Though they were slightly more oily than expected, they were satisfying. This is a good spot to grab a quick bite; I’d recommend the appetizers over the entrees. The entrees are priced higher than the quality served. Regarding the service and atmosphere- The waiter was very kind! Service was quick and attentive. The restaurant itself is quite dark
