My 1st Time at Wally Hatchets, as soon as I walked in I was greeted. I was served by Shannon C who is friendly, polite, professional, courteous, and has a GREAT sense of humor, so make sure to ask for Shannon C. The decorations on the Wall and elsewhere is Cool and Funky. The whole Menu has good selections. I ordered the Steak Burger with Mushrooms, Onions and Gravy, Eggs with Coffee that is delicious. I ordered the Catfish with Coleslaw and Onion Rings to go. Overall GREAT Experience !... A MUST GO when visiting Memphis, TN.

The staff were super nice, and the food was so good. I got the chicken and waffles, and my friend ordered an omelette bowl. The chicken was cooked perfectly! I’m really glad I came here to eat.

Overall, we had a good experience at this restaurant. My meal was delicious, though the eggs were overcooked and a few pieces of bacon were burnt. I’d be happy to give it another try and hope for a more consistent plate next time.

My chicken Philly was tasty and a surprisingly large portion for the price. Definitely rustic hole-in-the-wall diner/roadside type feel to the place. Actually serves beer and liquor. Service and cleanliness were lacking but maybe that was due to arriving towards the end of busy weekend rush.
