I had the halibut, easily the best fish and chips I've ever had.

Best Fish and Chips I've had in 20 years. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy and golden and you could tell the fish was fresh. I'm not sure what kind of potatoes he used but the chips were great, about the size of steak fries. I found out about this place by way of a great review on Nextdoor. It did not disappoint and Iwillbeback for sure. The Frying Scotsman is located in a giant Food Truck court and there's a bar with about 15 taps and a nice beer selection.

Outstanding fish and chips! Some of the best I have ever had! I got the halibut and it was absolutely worth it. The fish was cooked perfect. The batter stuck to it and was thin and crispy while the fish was still flaky and moist. Really outstanding.

I really like the halibut. It was $18.50 today for the regular size. It was super crunchy and the fish was nice and flaky. I didn’t love the chips, they are very thick and not crispy. You can add your own salt and pepper to it. It comes with small containers of what I think are coleslaw and tartar sauce, but I didn’t try either one. The guy working was pleasant to interact with. I was unsure how long the wait would be or when to know when it was ready, so I just hung around the cart and he pointed at me when it was ready. It was not a long wait and it is Saturday.

I’m super happy with this meal, not just with the amazing portions but also the taste. The chips were perfect and the batter on the fish was just as good. The coleslaw on the side had a bitter, tangy bite that paired well, plus the tartar sauce I could eat by itself. I tried some of the HP sauce with it and will most likely be purchasing a bottle online. Perfect meal, I can’t wait for the next.
