This was my first breakfast at this location. But not my last. I reserved their private room for my prayer group & friends (about 27 people). For such a large group, we were well attended. It seemed everyone enjoyed their food.

In my college-girl era so I'm always on the lookout for a quiet place to eat alone and study. This Mimi's met my criteria. 😁 I arrived around 6:30 to 7:00 PM. I'm pretty sure it was during Mexico's FIFA match. I ordered a bowl of French Onion soup, one of my favorites, and a Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken, because who likes cold, sad, beige chicken!? I also requested a bread basket. Everything was so yummy, and my server, Dulce, was super attentive. 💜

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. We came here for dinner, and for it being a weekend, I was surprised at how empty the place was, and now know why. Ordered the ribeye steak dinner with Caesar salad and another of us ordered a pasta dish also with a Caesar salad. The server brought one of the Caesar salads, so accepted it, thinking another one would be brought over next. Nope. Turns out that salad was meant specifically for the pasta dish, and the server didn't remember who had ordered what. Turned out my Caesar salad arrived WITH my ribeye, on the same plate, getting warm an

I ordered breakfast...easy! l ask that for well done eggs but not scorched add cheese. The eggs were poured and still runny. I asked for real eggs on the second try, the white of the eggs was undone. I sent the plate back and ate the muffin, Ughhh! I drove 45 min LA to lakewood to eat with my friends. Ughhh
