Pine Tavern is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like a food connoisseur. Every dish that lands on your table will arrive one-upping the last. You’ll look around at the river and the property and barely even notice the tree(s) protruding up thru the floor, room, and roof of the main dining hall. Their vintage take on northwest classics and fresh baked items; mixed with their warm service makes you leave feeling like a cousin come into town for a family visit and grandma’s secret recipes. We stopped in before our way out of town. Make sure to check the hours before you go. We heard about this place from word of mouth and how cool the two trees are in the back. We went in during lunch time and had some beers and small bites. I enjoyed the Cesar salad and clam chowder. I am still dreaming of this clam chowder. I cannot wait to return for it. We shared the bread pudding dessert made with scones. It was amazzzzzzzing. The host and server/bartender were phenomenal and kind. I am counting the days until I can return for a bowl of chowder and trying some more desserts.

The food was really really good. I had the best sweet potatoes fries I've ever had. They were perfectly crispy, sweet, and went well with the sauce. I ordered the steak bites (on the appetizer menu). It was very savory and reminded me of a well seasoned home cooked meal. I loved the sauce. I highly recommend. The grilled asparagus was also good. My wife enjoyed her Beet Salad. I ordered a pear martini drop....also delicious.

Came in around 2pm for the Happy Hour Menu. We were promptly seated and greeted by the waitress. This is a really nice setting for a tavern. Felt like I was in Boston or something similar to that. The menu was simple yet full of great choices. We tried the Shrimp fajitas and the Fish Tacos. Both were excellent and I highly recommend! We had a second order of the shrimp fajitas right after because the sauce was so delicious. We tried the Huckleberry-Lemon cider which was tasty! For dessert, we finished off with Peach Crumbler. Our waitress was very attentive and prompt. So glad we stopped here
