I’ve given this place plenty of chances before deciding to write a review, but the quality has been consistently disappointing. I’m writing this in hopes that the restaurant takes the feedback seriously and makes improvements. For this visit, we ordered Japchae, Bahn Bahn (half beef/half pork), and fried chicken (not pictured) - Japchae: overpriced for what it was. I have been here several times over the course of about a year. Cons: Today, they were out of most of their menu which isn’t ideal. You get like 2 bites of kimchi with the side of it, so if you like kimchi you have to order several portions to get a decent amount to go with your meal. It’s quick service style (walk up to register) yet they ask for tip on screen which in my experience you normally tip when you are being served sit down style. Yes a lot of places do this, but I find it distasteful. Sometimes, the portion size seems to have less meat while other times there is more. Pros: good

We've been going to Arkanseoul since they first opened, and continued after they changed Mgmt. It's the most convenient (next door to a boba tea shop) and has a great $1 chicken wings special every Wednesday. I get the tteokbokki, kimchi bokeum bap and bibimbap and hubby usually gets one of the dosirak (Korean lunch set - their version of a Japanese bento set). There are international flavors of potato chips - sweet and spicy, Korean sodas, iced coffee bottles, and my favorite Banana milk box containers. To top off the experience, they usually have Kpop videos or dramas playing on the TV.
