It was hopping on a Saturday night but we were able to get a table! My eggplant parm was melt in your mouth delicious, and the caprese was also soft and pillowy and served with beautiful tomatoes. Service was friendly and welcoming despite how busy they were, and we heard some loud gesticulating in Italian, adding to the authentic atmosphere! Definitely would come back!

Have had many of the things on the menu and everything has been a pleasure to eat. The pizzaiolo works wonders. Soft chewy but pillowy bread as well with excellent flavor. Great atmosphere. Have some wine while you’re waiting. Service is very good. Did I mention the atmosphere?

My favorite restaurant in Berkeley! I have been several times over the past 2 years. Food is excellent. Pastas and caprese are top drawer paired with an interesting selection of wines. The service is attentive, friendly but not invasive. Just a great spot for great food.

I'm a native New Yorker who's been living in CA for over 20 years. I know good pizza. The Bay Area has some great pizza places and I like to try them all. This place was a big let down. If you like Domino's pizza, you might like it. I won't be back.
