Josh Rogers★★★If you are looking for an old style diner vibe with friendly service, Kroll's Diner in Bismarck is a great option. We arrived around 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday and were greeted and seated in less than two minutes. The table was freshly cleaned and the diner smelled great. Our server took our order promptly and the food came out very fast. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs with toast and hashbrowns. To be honest, the meal was hit and miss. The toast was not really toasted and the hashbrowns lacked that essential crispy texture. I am also fairly certain the country fried steak was frozen
Joe Honeycutt★★★★★I love Kroll’s, however, I am not impressed with the pancakes. A good, quality pancake, needs to be sweet, light, and fluffy. The ones I had today were dense, lacking flavorful, and difficult to cut with a butter knife.. quite paste like. Time to reconsider your batter!
Stacy LE★★★Bit greasy for us and omelet ingredients did not taste fresh. Would skip next time in town.
Audrey Z★★★★My top sirloin steak was very good but not hot. Peas and carrots: very good. However, my salad was, practically, all iceberg lettuce. I think an upgrade to the type of lettuce and adding at least grated carrots would be appreciated. The salad dressing was a packet of unappealing fat-free Kraft dressing. The wait staff was amazing and well-versed on the gluten free items on the menu, but they mentioned they were frustrated that management took away the good salad dressings.
