Came here for lunch with coworkers and got The Cubano—stellar! Warm, savory, and just the right amount of mustard & pickles. I was hoping I’d eventually find a place in Boston that made good Cubanos (lots of trial and error), so I’m pleased to have found the right spot. I thought I might have seen the folks there smile when I ordered it, which already made me feel that this was a good pick. I also wanted to mention that Scali is my dad’s go-to spot for sandwiches and he comes here all the time and really enjoys them.

Wonderful, family owned shop. I found them on Find Me Gluten Free because I have celiac. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with gluten free toast, and they took precautions to keep my meal safe. Careful with the home fries, as they are cooked in a shared fryer. Delicious and filling breakfast. Highly recommended!

This is the best place downtown for breakfast. Great food and portions, reasonable prices, locally owned and operated. Avoid the hoity-toity, high brow cafes and check out this real Boston classic. It's clean and modern inside with lots of seating and few frills. The focus is on quality breakfast and lunch, with quick and friendly service.

Ran through in a rush, and everyone was nice. The food is good! I had the Local 2222: 2 eggs, 2 sausage, French Toast or pancakes and home fries. I added a wheat English muffin. I handed the French Toast and sausage to my daughter. She enjoyed it. Plus, I'm happy. If I'm back in Beantown, I'll be back!
