This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food just inside the historic Hotel Boulderado in downtown Boulder. I had brunch there twice — once with a group of four girlfriends and once alone. Both experiences were equally enjoyable. The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable. The food is nicely prepared and presented, yet reasonably priced (by Boulder standards). The service is top notch. (Special shout out to Severine who took good care of me.) And if you are staying at the hotel, it is highly convenient (of course!)

Emily Cooper★★★★★

Delicious sit down restaurant offering food and drinks located in the historic and visually stunning Hotel Boulderado. Several quality vegetarian options available on the menu, and our friends who keep it halal were also able to find quality options. Service was warm, kind, and personable. Give yourself time to enjoy the ambiance!

Farm & Fish in Boulder, Colorado is located within the historic Hotel Boulderado. I had an incredible brunch at Spruce Farm & Fish. The avocado toast was truly a standout—it had this perfect little kick of spice and was topped with two eggs that were cooked absolutely flawlessly. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant had this amazing, great vibe. It's no wonder the hotel it's in is so highly regarded; the Hotel Boulderado itself is a stunning landmark with a rich history, which definitely adds to the charm of the dining experience.

We had reservations for my husband’s birthday. We arrived early, so we sat at the bar - for about 10-15 minutes. The bar tender never acknowledged us. The people next to us also did not have drinks yet. Then we watched the bar tender pour a glass of red wine into a DOF glass, measuring it, poured it into a wine glass. Then he tried shaking the red wine out, and poured white wine into the same DOF glass. Never rinsed it. You could see the white wine turn slightly pink. Spruce is a nice restaurant and I would not expect something like this to happen. I can’t imagine what is going on in the kitch
