Great place for breakfast or any other meal but things can get very busy over the weekend so one may have to wait a while for a table. The portions used to be huge, now just big enough and still well presented. The service was quick, friendly and pleasant. There's an outside patio seating but in Boulder, that is very much dependent upon the weather. Prices are fair, especially for the area.

It's a DINER, not open for DINNER :⁠-⁠) Has a COFFEE BAR and a BOOZE BAR as well. For the Coffee Bar, see attached menu and picture. I had a Hot Mocha Cappuccino - it was awesome - better than Starbucks. They also have a Children's Menu (see attached picture). It was very busy but the service was prompt. The front & side parking lots were full but the back lot was empty. Bathrooms were clean (B+/A-) & stall type with Handicap Stalls. The restaurant is Handicap Accessible as well. I liked that they had a huge menu. Would recommend to friends. Thumbs up.

I have been living in Boulder for a little over a year now and had yet to try the Buff until today… what a grand mistake that was in my life! All I can say is that The Buff is an amazing institution in Boulder. Friends, if you live in Boulder or just have the privilege of visiting briefly, please put this restaurant at the very top of your list. Alexis was our server today, and she demonstrated care and PERFECT customer service. I love The Buff and I question those who don’t. Simply put I will be back. Thanks Alexis!
