The Mandarin in Bountiful completely exceeded our expectations — not just with their incredible food, but with their outstanding service and attention to detail for guests with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. We ordered one ham fried rice online. Their Web site says it has peas, carrots, and egg. When we picked up our order and got home to eat it, there was no egg in the fried rice. I called them to let them know. They insisted they put egg in it and we just couldn't see it. She said they shred up the egg very small so you really can't see it, but she said it's there. Part of my low score is because of how I was treated when I called in about the problem.

This is my favorite restaurant, even though it is a 30 minute drive from our home it has been a constant in my life since I was a small child. I enjoy several of their dishes and love the environment, they even hide a Barbie in different locations that you can look for when you go. Some favorite dishes would be imperial noodles, cashew chicken, spice girl, and 5 taste shrimp! Highly highly recommend!!!
