I actually stopped by Gyro Star in Bremerton while picking up an Uber Eats order, and I’m really glad I did. Years ago I worked in a gyro restaurant, so the smell immediately hit me when I walked in. The aroma of the meat and spices was incredible — honestly my whole car smelled heavenly on the drive after. The couple working there were incredibly kind. While I was waiting, I asked about the desserts — baklava and another pastry they had. The woman asked if I wanted to try one. UPDATE 4/21/26- as you can see below the owners responded. I tried calling them, they never answer the phone, I left a detailed voicemail and have yet to get a returned call. Being as I have to work and now go in to get my tooth removed and miss 2 days of work, it’s safe to say I shouldn’t have to go in person to get something done. I should get a call back and the companies insurance or the owner should have to pay 5,000 for a dental implant otherwise I will just retain an attorney to help handle this and will be asking for much more for the harm this has caused.
