Always enjoy coming to Flatwater. Servers are friendly and attentive. Food is all solid, nothing fancy but well executed. Nice outdoor deck patio for the nicer months, sometimes with live music. They do a periodic smoked prime rib which is very good, and rotate evening specials such as various fish, etc. which are fun to explore.

We had lunch here on a Saturday and had a great experience! We were originally told the wait would be 45-60 minutes, so we spent some time browsing the adorable vintage shop next door - but to our surprise, our table was ready in just 30 minutes. Service was quick and friendly, and everything we ordered was delicious. We tried the kid’s grilled cheese, chicken focaccia sandwich with crispy sorghum Brussels, brisket grilled cheese, and a bacon grilled cheese with tomato bisque. (I’ve included a photo of the chicken focaccia with Brussels sprouts.) What really stood out was how family-friendly this place is. They had a huge stack of high chairs and were incredibly kind and accommodating to our two toddlers, which made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere - we’ll definitely be back!

The open face snapper was overcooked and tough and the bread was more on the burnt then grilled. Still fantastic but room for improvement.

My daughter and I split a $24 dinner entree and a $10 dinner salad for lunch today on their gorgeous patio area. We felt like the server was attentive and the salad was very good. However, the entree was overcooked and served with about a cup full of asparagus, potatoes and mushrooms cut up to make one side. Probably won't return to eat but a great place to sit outside and enjoy a drink.
