I’ve ordered from Dixie Q many times over the years. My takeout experience today was so disappointing that I am reviewing before I eat. Simply put: see photos of the meal that is supposed to be for 4 people. The salmon portions are fair. The sides are quite ridiculous and would only serve 2 people. They should change the description or increase price and provide larger sides.

My second time here in a year and a half. I asked for a 3meat combo and only got 2-meats. I asked the waitress if she forgot that it was a 3-meat order. She said she’ll bring it right out but charged me $15 instead of +$3for extra meat. Now, she could have corrected me during this misunderstanding but she chose to say that it was an additional $3 for the extra item not $15. How do you keep in business by ripping off the hand that feeds you? Anyway, shame since this was going to be on my list of places to return.

We originally thought this place might be OK because it had a fair amount of positive reviews… we were wrong.. all I can say is that there are some people who have no clue what actual barbecue is supposed to taste like or how it’s supposed to be cooked. The Brisket was edible, but extremely dry. The ribs were horrendous, not edible at all, very tough and dry! I would say skip this joint and go to a real barbecue restaurant.

A really cool place to relax and unwind. Great service, food is plentiful. The prices are reasonable too - the bill was a little over $50, I rounded it up to $70. Happy to tip well- the servers are nice, hard-working people. I really do appreciate their service. Got to stay up a little late, relax, and finish my wine. If you have kids, there is a nice adjacent area where they play. A nice place indeed - thank you!
