We happened upon Cafe Elegante by chance and we added it to our Must Eat There places! We arrived before the dinner rush, ordered with recommendations from our server, and were delighted by ALL our selections. A gentleman we believe is the owner came to greet and chat a little, kind and friendly, he checked on us a few more times as we compared dishes. Sour cherry rice! I’m coming back for that! And the appetizer Falafel was better than anywhere else. We got a tasting of an eggplant & tomato dish that got us talking, trying to figure it out so we could try to cook it! DELICIOUS!

The Yelp & Google reviews are spot on. Their food is excellent and their service is as well. We had their beef and lule kebab plates with their barbary rice and they were super delicious and portions were generous. The owner also brought us some complementary side dishes that were so delicious with some warm bread. Free parking in the lot in front of the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back! Happy eating!
