TL/DR: fantastic coffee, plus the best sparkling water I have ever had?! Easily one of the best two cortados I had in NYC this weekend. (Other one being Suited NYC). Love the vibe of the space as well — definitely encouraged me to take my time, enjoy the coffee, the space, and the person next to me equally enjoying their coffee who ended up chatting with me. Another review described my favourite part though: the water! I know it is weird but I genuinely hope SEY replies with an explanation of their amazing sparkling water! “The best part was that they serve it with a free cup of sparkling w

A visit to Sey Coffee is nothing short of a pilgrimage for anyone serious about specialty coffee. This is a world-renowned roastery whose coffees are celebrated in some of the best specialty cafés globally — including Motors Coffee — and experiencing it at the source is something special. The top-shelf espressos were absolutely mind-blowing. Clean, expressive, layered — every shot showcased precision and a deep respect for the coffee itself. You can taste the intention behind every detail. A special thank you to Daniel and Lorenzo for making my visit unforgettable. Their knowledge, hospitali

Coffee Tasting Log★★★★

Went to try Sey’s famous Nordic style Roasts only to find a fairly limited bean menu (2 beans, both washed processed from South America) and the fact that they only do Aeropress (no pour-overs). With that said, the brew was pretty good. I had their Wilson Alba Pink Bourbon from Colombia ($15.50). Well balanced fruity acidity. I think a V60 might have made for slight more clear, focused brew, but I enjoyed the coffee. They also have a small pastry case, and the pastry I got was also tasty.

Another review mentioned pilgrimage and it could not describe it better for coffee lovers. This place has been on my list for so long and I could not be more satisfied with the whole experience. I have a cappuccino with oat milk and the space, the light, the service, the roaster in the back were part of a beautiful puzzle to savor a Peruvian delicate coffee flavor. Everything made sense. The quality of the beans and the flawless execution of the barista made my glooming morning so mellow. Came earlier to assure I’d have a space to enjoy a dine in experience with their beautiful ceramics. Space
