Came here on a weekday night, wasn’t too busy. This is CV’s best BBQ joint and it is phenomenal. I ordered a 2 meat combo brisket and pork ribs with mac n cheese, cold slaw, cornbread. Come early and hungry if you want certain selections of meats and cuts!

Visited Canyons Barbeque recently and had a negative experience. The ordering process is full counter service: you order at the register, pick up your food there when it’s ready, and then bus your own trays to the trash afterward. I was surprised they still ask for a tip at the register with this level of service. I ordered the tri-tip sandwich with a side of fries. The bread was good and the tri-tip itself had decent flavor, but the sandwich was smaller than I expected — it was half a sandwich. Not a full sandwich. The fries were also a huge disappointment for the price (see photo). For $50

Stopped by Canyon BBQ and honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this good. The meat is legit, you can tell it’s been smoked right, not rushed. Brisket had a solid bark, juicy inside, not dry like most places try to pass off. Ribs came out tender, good bite, not falling apart mush. Sides were actually worth it too, which is rare. Mac and cheese had flavor, not just cream, and the beans had that smoky kick that ties everything together. Service was chill and quick, nothing over the top, just people that know what they’re doing. Place has a good vibe, feels like somewhere you can come back without

This review is only for the seasonal Rhubarb pie.. and what a pie it is! Really good rhubarb and probably one of the best. Also comes with a side of ice cream. Easy to find parking, although its difficult to see the restaurant as its on the back side of Philz and on a side street. They must sell out quickly of dessert because this is all they had left at 3:30pm, but this pie didnt disappoint. It was like $9.00 for a slice; i hardly eat out nowadays, but im assuming that's a normal price? Will be back soon to try other desserts (probably get there earlier next time).
