Made the trip up to Ithaca from Corning to try The Heights. Knew from reading reviews that it was a nice spot, but all of our expectations were blown out of the water! Service was spot on from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess wished me a Happy Birthday and we were ushered to our table right away. We were waited on almost immediately. I loved the bread with olives in it, my wife doesn’t like olives, and they brought out some grilled pita bread that was also delicious. I ordered the Portuguese Octopus for an appetizer. In particular we are days later, still talking about the cauliflower appetizer and the dramatic T-bone steak. However, what took the experience over the top for me was our server Patrick. Pleasant dining experience, the Octopus and Cauliflower appetizers were excellent. The entrees were fine but were not on the same level as the apps. The lava cake served its purpose. The dining room was very comfortable and service was on point

The Heights is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Ithaca. The food was exceptional—every bite was perfectly executed. I ordered the seabass special, and it was outstanding: delicate, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My daughter had the mahimahi, also a special of the day, and it was just as impressive. Both dishes were fresh and expertly prepared. The service was professional and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. If you’re looking for a truly memorable meal in Ithaca, The Heights should be at the top of your list.
