Danny’s Restaurant is a rare find these days—the only one left on Long Island, and thankfully it’s still doing things right. I stopped in around 2:30 PM for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Hearty 9-Grain Pancakes Slam, which came with two multi-wheat, plant-based pancakes made with flaxseeds, cinnamon, and brown sugar, along with two over-easy eggs, one sausage, one bacon, crispy hash browns, and a cup of coffee. Solid, no-nonsense breakfast. Now here’s the move—and trust me on this—I added butter on top of the pancakes, then put the over-easy eggs right on top, sliced ever
