Went here for lunch, was quickly seated without reservation. Plenty of parking too. I ordered to-go corn bread from here before, I did not enjoy it that much. Having it dine in is a different story, it is 100x so much better! Probably is my new favorite corn bread go-to spot. We ordered a couple of things, I particularly enjoyed the creamed corn as a side, it is on the sweeter side almost like a dessert. The bbqs are good, I really like the brisket and the fried chicken. Country fried steak is okay, kinda dry. There was a little incident where the tie of the collard greens was in the collar

Gus’s BBQ is a great spot for BBQ, especially if you enjoy pork ribs. The Memphis baby back ribs were tender, smoky, and full of flavor. One of the highlights is the four different BBQ sauces available at the table, allowing you to try each one and pick your favorite combination. There is free outdoor parking available. On weekends, the shopping center can get quite busy, so finding parking may take some time. On other days, parking and access are much more convenient. Overall, a satisfying BBQ experience with flavorful ribs and a relaxed atmosphere.

I’ve tried the location in Pasadena and loved it. This location is even nicer aesthetically with a very cool laid-back vibe. The food is very good just like in Pasadena. Although, I will say the brisket in Pasadena is better. Service is great. Ryan was amazing and very accommodating.
