We’re in town visiting and staying a couple blocks away. I pulled up the reviews and menu and decided to go here for breakfast with the wife and kids yesterday. The food was really good, and the price was even better. But the lady working the counter, and I did not get her name, was the best part of the morning. She knew everyone’s name that was coming in. She was so nice to my kids. She was the only one working the counter Friday morning (5/22/26) around 7 am. Taller woman. Kudos to her and the restaurant. Then we walked into the lobby of the building and it’s beautiful. 10/10 would recommend

Stopped by the Corner Bakery downtown for a quick breakfast before starting my day. I grabbed an Uptown Turkey Avocado sandwich on harvest toast and a large iced coffee. Everything tasted super fresh and the service moved really fast. It’s a solid price for a quick and reliable bite in the Loop. Will definitely hit this spot up again when I need a fast morning meal.

I ordered a tomato mozerella sandwich but I couldn't eat it even though I am not a picky eater. The bread was very stale and the sandwich was very cold. It was just cold ingredients stacked on top of each other. And I paid $16 for this and a brewed coffee!

This is first visit to Corner Bakery in Chicago. After arrived at United States from Japan, I searched around breakfast and found this Bakery. I asked employee’s recommendations and she recommended “Anaheim Scramble “. The dish was delicious and suitable for not good condition stomach because of twelve hours flight from Japan😆. The employee’s attitude was very kind. I’d like to go there again.
