No idea how they get their positive reviews. First of all, the coffee was bad - really, really bad. I have traveled extensively through Vietnam and came to adore their coffee culture, but honestly no coffee experience could be further from that than VietFive’s (yes, I know the “family farm” story, but that doesn’t help when your coffee is just, to use the words of another reviewer, “pond water”). V5 gave a really good cafe experience- the ube latte with coffee just hit so well with the sandwiches. I would go for ube over salted coffee for trying something new but that was good too. The sandwiches were so worth it. It gets pricey for two for coffee and sandwich each but it’s still a good place to go. It was my first time trying Vietnamese food other than pho and I would happily come here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this cafe! Each worker was so kind, smiling, and genuinely helpful. I went with my baby and we were able to sit comfortably at a two-top when it wasn’t too busy. My coffee was exactly what I wanted, and the chicken bahn mi was the best mid morning breakfast. I can’t wait to go back and try their egg coffee! They had some fruit pies and empanadas in warmers up front, as well as a few vegetarian options for sandwiches and bowls. Highly recommend this café!

This place was such a delight. The stay behind the counter was so welcoming and helpful! Minesha, in particular, just kept the energy in the cafe so bright and cheerful. They had a line when I walked in but it was fine because there's also a digital order kiosk. They didn't rush anybody while trying to understand the menu and make decisions. My drink came out very quickly and they let me know about the wait for food as that made my rice fresh. The Wi-Fi is fast enough to get work done and I even took a quick call from the corner table.
