The food was delicious. We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait. Our waiter was great, our food came quickly. To be honest, we had trouble deciding. We chose 3 small bite plates, thinking we'd order an entree to share but we were full before we were finished. The entrees we saw leaving the kitchen all looked wonderful and the portions were large. The Bao buns and spring rolls were our favorite. I wish we had been able to try more. Definitely a yes!

We came here on Sunday evening, and the restaurant was relatively full. The food was great. We enjoyed the roasted duck with the sesame bread, the pan fried baos and the thousand years eggs. Look forward to coming back and trying more dishes one day!

Fun spot to go with a group and sample all the fun food options on the menu. I loved the soup dumplings and the bao, oh and the green beans were great too! It can get a bit noisy, in case you’re looking for something quiet this is not your spot. Come here and get your hipster vibe on!

Fantastic food and the best service in SF! We had a great experience at China Live for a NYE dinner. Our waiter was even better than the food—he was so genuine and gave us perfect recommendations. We tried a huge variety: the Sheng Jian Bao (pan-fried dumplings), Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), Crushed Cucumber Skins, Yangzhou Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Wok Seared Filet Mignon, and Sichuan Blistered Green Beans. The dumplings and the cucumber skins were absolute favorites, as was the Kung Pao chicken. The filet mignon was delicious, though the portion was a bit on the smaller side. Everyth
