Classic Chinatown spot that delivers solid, honest Chinese comfort food. We ordered several dishes — a spicy noodle broth loaded with bean sprouts, scallions and chili oil that had real depth; a wonton noodle soup with generously filled dumplings in a clean broth; a sautéed offal dish with red onion and chili that was bold and well-seasoned; and what appeared to be a hot & sour soup with good body. Everything came out hot and fresh. The menu is trilingual (Chinese/English/Vietnamese) with a wide variety at reasonable prices. Service is efficient in true Chinatown style — don't expect pampering

Delicious Food and Great Service! San Sun Restaurant in Chinatown, San Francisco, was a fantastic spot for my family and me! We ordered 2 pho bowls, seafood fried rice, fried fish, and kung pao shrimp, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the portions were generous. In Chinatown classic! I had the pure Rice noodle combination. My husband had the curry chicken and we split the eggrolls. They give you complementary hot tea and they are awesome people not to mention they were playing the best 80s music!!

-Update- After coming here several times already, this restaurant is still my place to go in China Town. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the tender beef pho.
