Robin Hill★★★★★I was just looking for a place at the marina in Chula Vista - and found this great spot. The Galley is apparently a local favorite - and for good reason. Wednesdays they have a great band (Ron’s Garage) and the special was a sirloin(!) cheese burger with fries or onion rings and a happy hour well drink for $19.99 I sat on the patio with a view of the marina and the Bay. The burger was cooked perfectly. The onion rings were super crunchy and my gin and tonic was probably a double. I travel too much for work - but trying great restaurants like this is one of the perks for sure.

I planned to stay for just a bit but a band named Ron's Garage played. They are awesome. Very talented! Classic rock. They can play anywhere, and should have a bigger venue. It was a real pleasure listening to them. I stayed 5 hrs.

Food was great- mahi mahi tacos wee made with a huge chuck of grilled mahi!
