We come over the mtn from Carson City NV quite a bit. This place was ABSOLUTELY worth the stop! Dude behind the counter was beyond awesome! Our food was perfect; service was kickass. Garlic parm wings are fabulous, no old minced garlic from a jar, but actual slices of garlic throughout made them delicious! (I LOVE the crunch into the garlic slices on each wing!) The tri-tip sandwich is simple but sooo tasty. The onion rings cooked perfectly. The baked beans were a big surprise! Seriously. My tri-tip plate had seasoning (pepper) & wasnt plain meat. What a tri tip sandwich in this area! Just packed with lots of flavor and I really love the many sides available from potato salad to fries and mozzarella sticks in between! Looks like this business took over from a “House of Baklava”, but seems to honor the past by selling $1.99 Baklavas in return! The inside is pretty industrial as baba also does catering, so there isn’t much room, just 1 table and a tv playing Netflix or a Torrent movie? Very creative! I stopped by and ordered the Tri Tip sandwich with mozzarella sticks on the side, and WOW!! everything was so good. You can really taste the quality in the meat and the food overall. The sandwich was flavorful and tender, and the mozz sticks were the perfect crispy bonus. On top of that, the owner was super nice and genuinely pleasant to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Baba’s BBQ in Roseville is the real deal. The tri-tip sandwich was absolutely 🔥 .Perfectly cooked, insanely tender, and packed with flavor. You can tell real care goes into the food. The fries were just as good: hot, crispy, and the perfect side to that sandwich. But what really sets this place apart is the hospitality. Malek, the owner, welcomed us with so much genuine love and kindness that it instantly felt like more than just a meal it felt like home.
